INTRODUCTION
Hemodynamic monitoring is intensely challenging,
fascinating, and complex. While basic technique can be mastered quickly,
acquiring true expertise and the ability to base clinical decision-making on
hemodynamic data is a life-long process. As technology evolves and research
findings are published, clinical practice changes also.
This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the core
components of hemodynamic monitoring, and offers participants an opportunity
to refine, update, and advance their knowledge and skill in this essential
aspect of critical care.
