INTERPRETING ECGs:
Practical Aspects for Practicing Clinicians

Current Seminars Seminars By Date Seminars By Region Objectives Schedule Faculty

INTRODUCTION

While cardiac monitoring is an essential skill required of all critical care nurses, interpretation of the 12-lead is more complex, challenging, and fascinating. This topic poses an opportunity for life-long learning, as nurses in virtually all practice settings encounter electrocardiograms.

This focused, one-day seminar utilizes a logical, progressive format that facilitates learning, minimizes frustration, and emphasizes the most clinically important information revealed by the 12-lead.

Supervised practice sessions provide a relaxed and stress-free opportunity for participants to gain both skill and confidence. Direct clinical application is emphasized, and the positive, supportive approach ensures an enjoyable and productive learning experience.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This seminar is intended for all critical care nurses.
