Identify the major causes of ischemic stroke. Discuss the vascular and cerebral anatomy relevant to ischemic stroke. Compare assessment techniques and standardized scales used to evaluate the patient with stroke. Describe appropriate critical care nursing interventions for ischemic stroke. Explain the requirements for Primary Stroke Center Certification. Perform basic interpretation of CT and MRI imaging of ischemic stroke.
