Laura E. Luecke, R.N., M.S.N., CCRN, ACNP is an experienced critical care nurse and gifted nurse educator. Her area of focus is in cardiovascular nursing, and her depth and scope of knowledge in this specialty is truly phenomenal. Laura has lectured extensively throughout the country on many cardiovascular topics. Her high energy, animated style, and sense of humor combine with her expertise to create an exceptionally effective and enjoyable teaching style.

Laura has also published many articles and textbook chapters in cardiovascular critical care, and she is a coauthor of Critical Care Skills: A Clinical Handbook which was previously an AJN Book of the Year for critical care.

Laura is currently the Program Coordinator of the AACN-approved Critical Care and Trauma Nurse Internship at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas.
