INTRODUCTION

A condensed, one-evening version of our popular seminar on Mechanical Ventilation.

As the central component of life support, mechanical ventilation is a commonly-encountered, essential aspect of critical care. Ventilator Basics provides an in-depth introduction to this fascinating, challenging topic.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Designed specifically for new critical care nurses, this seminar assists the participants in establishing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of managing the patient/ventilator system.

Respiratory care practitioners are welcome to attend. However, it should be noted that Ventilator Basics is intended to provide a strong basic foundation in this topic area, and is taught from a nursing perspective.
