
Mary K.
Roberts, R.N., M.S.N., ACNP, is
a highly skilled critical care nurse and an experienced nurse educator. She has
held staff positions in Surgical/Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, and
Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU, and has been an instructor in the Critical Care and
Trauma Nurse Internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas for thirteen
years. She also served as an adjunct faculty member in the critical care
master's program at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing.
Mary is now an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Trauma Department of Parkland Health and Hospital System. She has
contributed several articles and chapters to the nursing literature, and is a
co-author of the 2004 Elsevier publication Critical Care Skills: A
Clinical Handbook. Consistent positive feedback includes comments on
Mary's extensive knowledge base, ability to relate theory to clinical practice,
and her sense of humor.
